We've Gone Beta

So, we're going to keep housekeeping "behind the curtain" for the most part, but let's get a few things clear:
  • We've still got some kinks to figure out. Like, we need to figure out how to get the fonts to default to something normal and that's apparently not as cut and dry as you might suppose.
  • We need to expand the Blog Roll and Links section because I can hardly assume you're going to read this drivel. I mean I can come up with cool stuff to discuss and all, but you're busy people.
All that said, we're going to have some good things here. Free from the bounds of MySpace, an honest-to-heavens RSS feed... I mean, we're really getting somewhere. I mean, we keep this up, we might someday have our own domain name and other features that happened most other places several years ago.

Ah, but, dear readers, you will continue to be entertained. If you're familiar with the scene here, bear with me. This blog is apparently now public, so all kinda of crazy cats might run into this. So, here's the deal: we talk about it all. What do I mean? I mean:

  • When all else fails, I'll write about music. Maybe post some (legal) streaming songs and so forth. Tell you why some band kicks ass. Review CDs. Bitch about bands like Hinder. That kind of stuff.
  • I travel a lot. Which means airplanes. Which means an endless - seriously, terribly endless - display of stupidity very often. Don't believe me? Just wait.
  • Sports. Not too often and never in a "my world will end tomorrow if the Yankees don't win tonight" kind of way.
  • Politics - We're moderate here. Left on social issues. Right on the economy.
  • News - And not just current events. Crazy stuff. The Nigerian who built his own helicopter? Yeah, we were on that. Trying to keep you on your toes.
Anyhow, comments are always open, unless you post some kind of ridiculous manifesto based entirely on hearsay. Then it's gone.

More to come.

Dude, stop talking in the 3rd person. It's wierding me out! Probably because we're married.
